Cimetidine 200 / 400mg

Pharmacological Class:

H2 Antagonist.

Indications:

• Peptic / Gastric / duodenal or Jejunal Ulcer
• Reflux Esophagitis
• Erosive Esophagitis.
• Zollinger Ellison’s syndrome
• Adjuvant treatment of erosions induced by steroid or NSAIDs

Dosage:

• Duodenal Ulcer: 400mg BD or 200mg TDs plus 400mg Nocte for 4/52.
• Gastric Ulcer: 200mg TDS plus 400mg
• Nocte for 6/52.
• Reflux Esophagitis: 400mg TDS and 400mg at Bed time 4 – 8 weeks.
